In order to gain a deeper understanding by providing information of each 7 checkpoint on the background and more detailed contents, “support tools for employment of persons with disability by checkpoints, reference” was created that was summarized of related data, research results, cases, and system outline, etc.
It can be utilized as reference materials to consider what to do with hiring persons with disabilities for employers and as assessment tools to grasp challenges in employment of persons with disability at the counseling with employers for supporters and support organizations

We created a leaflet for companies that currently or considering employing persons with disabilities, as a reference to internal support systems for aiding persons with disabilities to adjust or settle into the workplace. Based on a survey of 248 offices that employ job coaches and 570 job coaches, this leaflet summarizes the state of support offered by job coaches, as well as their effects and challenges. Use this leaflet as a reference to disseminate information into companies that promote employment of persons with disabilities, aid them in settling into the workplace and build internal support systems for employment of persons with disabilities.

In response to demand for the addition of new MWS tasks that are more difficult yet more practical than conventional ones, we developed three new skills goals (tasks) and put them into practice. These are "salary calculation," "proofreading," and "in-house mail sorting," which greater reading comprehension, focus, and judgement than past tasks.
Assuming that the vocational tasks are conducted while referencing materials such as illustrations, charts and handbooks, the new skills goals will allow participants to complete their tasks while referring to a "sub book" including task rules and procedures. The purpose of new tasks is to develop "the ability to understand the rules specified in documents" with "the ability for participants to properly understand and follow task rules."

So we recommend to utilize the brochure for corporate managers, industrial health staff, e.g. industrial doctors, industrial health nurses.
The brochure can be also used when looking for how to keeping job in spite of severe ophthalmic diseases, and conceivably seeking preceding solution cases. For that reason, we also recommend to utilize the brochure for employees who have come to suffer from eye disease while working, and who are starting to feel difficulties with commuting and work.
Naturally, each experts in ophthalmic medicine, social welfare and employment support can use the brochure to offer the severe ophthalmic diseases employee something proposal that contributes to solutions to many visual problems.

Through analysis etc. on situation of employment of persons with intractable diseases without Disability Certificate which is not subject to employment quota system for persons with disabilities, we have developed a employment management manual which aims to establish relation "that such persons can work without excessive difficulties," between persons with diseases or disabilities and employers.
In reference to recent social movement, we present many cases in which persons with intractable diseases actively work under possible supporting systems and under certain considerations although not subject to employment quota system for persons with disabilities.
For the issues which have been recognized in employment management of persons with intractable diseases such as "elimination of misunderstanding and prejudice to intractable diseases by employers / promotion of accurate images", "solution of practical issues at recruitment", "good communication at workplace / promotion of understanding and accommodation", "supports for leave and reinstatement", "measures for development of disorders", etc. , we have organized the issues from the viewpoints of employers and have made the points easier for employers utilize.
Observing the voices from the field of employment support that "they cannot make employment support for persons without Disability Certificate", we refer to practical techniques for support "under employment relation beneficial for both persons with intractable diseases and employers", and we hope these serve for supporting activities.

Test of Emotion Recognition by Facial Expressions and/or Tone New Version consists of two tests ("Basic emotions assessment version" which evaluates characteristics when inferring emotions from tones and faces which express basic emotions (happy/sad/angry/disgust) and "Pleasantness-unpleasantness level assessment version" which evaluates characteristics regarding emotion inference from ambiguous emotional expression). It is expected that the usage of this test allows people to clarify difficulties of judging another person's emotions from non-verbal information such as tones and faces as well as characteristics of emotion inference, and furthermore to be useful for discussing communication support.

The tasks were investigated for both employment of persons with mental disabilities and having workers to return to workplaces after leave due to their mental health issues at corporations. In addition, the research was also undertaken concerning the relationships between the correspondence to persons with mental health issues and the employment of persons with mental disabilities. Based on this analysis, the corporations were divided into six groups and for each group, suggestions were attempted to be offered concerning the countermeasures to support corporations at the time of the employment promotion of persons with mental disabilities.
