We have created a reference sheet tool (a sheet compiling issues, measures and demands for understanding/consideration, etc.) for information sharing in order to proceed precisely with job redesign when reappointing persons with higher brain dysfunction, and a reference data compilation tool collecting extensive information relating to job redesign, and have compiled how to use these tools as well as examples of support, etc.

Development of Support Methods for Persons with Developmental Disabilities

Report on Practical Support Methods No. 31 (issued March 2018)(japanese) "Improvement of Job-related Skills Training"

We have compiled results, effects and points at issue, etc. regarding development of new courses focused on non-verbal communication such as how to read a person's facial expressions and the timing of when to talk to someone, together with initiatives to enhance the usefulness of JST by comparing with support techniques to date, in order to ensure smooth workplace adaptation for persons with developmental disabilities. We are attaching a DVD video and CD-R tools used in course exercises.

For persons with mental health problems including mood disorder, who have been on leave

We have developed basic work ability formation support including career-themed career seminars and individual work, looking back on successful personal experiences and roles to confirm values in relation to ways of working, with the aim of helping persons with mental disabilities in order to facilitate their smooth return to work and subsequent workplace adaptation. We are attaching a DVD to explain how to proceed with discussions, together with a CD-R tool to use when providing support.
